Hello All!
Next week, USC along with V-DAY is putting up a production of THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES by Eve Ensler. We have been working hard over the last few weeks to put together a show that encompasses experiences of women all over the world. These powerful women that we are portraying have lived extraordinary lives, and we are blessed that these stories can be shared.
My monologue is THE WOMAN WHO LIKED TO MAKE VAGINAS HAPPY….yes…the moaning one. This monologue is about a woman who was a sex worker, but only did sex work with women. It was her mission to help women find their inner power and strength, and it has been a real treat to delve into the life and world of this woman.
Other monologues include:
MY SHORT SKIRT
BECAUSE HE LIKED TO LOOK AT IT
MY VAGINA WAS MY VILLAGE
MY ANGRY VAGINA
RECLAIMING CUNT
and many more.
Please come join us at the Village Gate Theatre at USC Thursday February 9-Saturday February 11 at 8pm.
Tickets are $10 ($5/students) and all proceeds from our performances go to A Window Between Worlds, an organization that uses art as a form of therapy and healing for female victims of sexual violence.
You can reserve tickets by emailing vdayusc@gmail.com

Please donate! It’s a really fantastic cause.
*Just a warning. These monologues range from extremely LOL funny to heartbreakingly painful. But the mix of both good and bad experiences of being women is what makes THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES such a successful and necessary tradition around the world.
